This product is definitely thin enough to use with a Macbook Pro which was my main concern - I was worried my screen would break if I also closed the laptop alot hard but now that i have it on my computer i can say it wont be a problem its less than 1mm thick (probably 1/2mm but i taped it on before I checked it again). My only complaint is that of this matte pastel pink as pictured it's rose gold instead. It's still very pretty but I bought this particular one to match my laptop and desk. The product , which I have received so far, works very well but doesn't look like the photo Metallic Dull Rose Gold/Rose Pink.
