In real LED mods they are much 'bluer' than in the photo. So if you want WHITE, it's not going to make you very happy. they "flash" somehow electronically so that no one gets the idea that they are candles. I use them as wedding decor, in jars with lampshades and then alone on the pathways in the yard illuminating the path to the toilet in the house. They are SO weird because of the blueness and will be VERY bright at night and might attract bugs so I used my purple nail polish to change up the flame tips. They're great for that, I don't have to worry about the heat generated by non-LED bulbs causing problems with them. and I don't think they were offered in a darker shade of purple. so I had to make an extra effort.
