If you complain about quality, you don't complain. That USB connector where it enters the phone is stronger than most other cables and this is where 90% of all those cables break, regardless of who makes them. However, if you drop your phone while the charger is connected to the phone, it will most likely bend the connector and then fall out. Could you make one out of titanium that doesn't bend? Sure, but I'd rather bend the cord than damage the phone if it falls. The USB in a phone is designed to bend and therefore become extremely unreliable. So why these cables? Try 3 inch cables at any $1 store and you can quickly see that they bend very easily by hand and always after a fall of just a foot or two. Once bent they will fall out and really should be thrown away as it will drive you crazy seeing them connect and disconnect every time you move your phone or cable. Also, 3 feet is too short in most cases. Always carry 6-foot cords, and maybe keep a 3-foot cord or two just for special occasions. I'm careful and never drop my phone, so I never overdo it. Cheap $1 stamps will still bend and break even if you don't drop them. However, someone else here dropped the phone, and if that's the case, any of these USB cable types will most likely bend the connector and actually "break" the cable. In this case, do not try to straighten them. This fix just never works for more than a day or so. These cables are great. And for less than $2, you can easily justify discarding one of your troubled cables.
