Bought this stand for an old Samsung 23 inch LCD TV. the TV I needed. It seemed to fit the bill as the TV and VESA adapter plate weighed just over 18 pounds. I received the stand very quickly and the initial assembly was quite easy. I adapted it so that I had to attach the VESA adapter plate and then attach the TV to the adapter plate. The vertical adjustment required quite a bit of torque on the stop screw to keep it where I put it. posted and likely never to be moved. Tilt did it to me. I adjusted the down angle as desired, but the TV kept tilting forward/down. I tightened the screw (heavy) but never got it good enough. I think I could put a small l "cheat pipe" on the hex wrench and actually screw it in, but I was worried about loosening the screw head. I didn't need much extra help to hold the desired tilt position, so I used a small piece of thick black foam cut to fit between the stand's vertical support bar and the bottom of the TV. This "fixation" was perfect, and as I said before, the TV will probably never be moved. The whole setup is pretty solid and just what I needed, so I'm happy with that. For those looking to set up a large monitor that moves or moves frequently, I may have issues with tilt. It's rated at 22 pounds so I was close but within spec.
