Great solution for minimizing storage space

I've wanted to save storage space for CDs and DVDs for a long time, but didn't want to switch to folders or expensive disc systems. I have 3 nice CD cabinets with wicker CD storage drawers and they are full. I have another DVD cabinet that is not only full but also ugly. With these cases I can store all my CDs and DVDs in my cute CD cabinets that stand side by side and make a nice table top for other items. And I have space. No, the CD booklets don't fit in the sleeves unless they are cut off, hence 4 stars instead of 5. I took the insert from the back of the sleeve, cut off the spine of the track and glued it into the slot on the cover. It's the same size as the sleeve labels but looks a lot better than my handwritten labels. I cut the opposite perforated tab off the liner and then bend the rest to fit the sleeve. I will keep the booklets in a separate drawer in my now spacious CD cabinet. With my DVDs, I took the insert out of the case and cut off the spine of the title again and stuck it into the title area in the cover and shortened the ends to fit. I now have 2 left that I can easily keep in my desk drawer if I decide to keep them for myself. Some DVDs also have an insert in the case that can be folded or cut and inserted into the case. I make cardboard letter dividers to help organize my closets. Overall I like this product. It suits my storage needs and appears to be a durable product. If your local recycling center does not accept blank CD and DVD cases, you can recycle them using [.].
