This tool and skin is so easy to use that it does exactly what it promises. An utterly charming note from the owner that your prized and loved items need to be given the special attention they deserve. He writes about his favorite old glove, which I also repaired, and not only why it should be "tended" but also how to do it: like a quarter inch to a quarter inch, patiently and carefully. My only question/concern for the owner - I finally figured it out through trial and error - concerns the pattern that occurs when the skin is inserted into the needle. He says "don't cut the sides to a point but to a cylinder" as this gives more surface area/friction in the needle so the skin doesn't fall out when you push the needle through the thick parts of the glove. The drawing he gives needs some work, some kind of dotted lines where the skin needs to be cut off and if he includes a tiny pair of scissors (for a slight price increase it would help...my big scissors still mostly end in the Sharpness In the end he's discouraged in the instructions anyway, it felt like the 'old pro' in the dugout taught me how to 'do it', and I loved the whole first (!) experience, fixing my son's glove that belonged to his father which she had for many years when we met 32 years ago Very Dream Field Thank you sir!
