Locktite has several strengths, from easily dismantled products to this product designed for semi-permanent installation at high temperatures. Yes, you may be able to disassemble it after installation, but you will need to heat the assembly to well over 500 degrees Fahrenheit. If you put together clean parts with this locker, it would take almost a congress to take it apart. The best permanent locker I know. It is thin to stay threaded when assembled to fit in the small space between the male and female threads. If both threads are good, this will block them. Not intended as a substitute for thread material (metal).
