Already peeling: Mouse pads and palm rests

I've only had this mouse pad a few weeks and it's starting to peel off. I liked it and bought it because it was Hello Kitty, which I liked, but it's not very good quality. If it was a year or even 6 months later and it was peeling I understand but it could be 3 weeks at most.
