I have a bedside radio that has two jacks on the back for use with an external AM-BCB antenna. The radio came with a cheap 5 inch diameter untuned plastic loop that worked fine for some local stations but could not pick up stations outside 25 miles of my location. When I plugged the An-200 directly into the radio's antenna connectors, the radio burst into life and to my great surprise, I could easily hear stations over 100 miles away. The AN-200 has a wider coverage area than the one I used, and because this antenna has a tuning loop design, this antenna is much more resilient to noisy devices in the house masking signals. The antenna has exceeded my expectations and now I enjoy interference-free reception!
