However, they stay.

To my disappointment and annoyance, I have never worn earphones while walking let alone running. But Yurbud's Ironman has it.! Huge plus. However. NOISE INTERFERENCE. I used them for the first time today and it was a bit windy day (5-10mph I would say). Running upwind made a lot of noise, enough to distort the NPR news stories I heard. By putting my open hand in front of my ears to block out the wind, the sound almost disappeared. In addition, the cable that rubs against your body when you walk transmits significant noise to your ears. Can be annoying if sensitive to it. SOUND QUALITY. Not bad, but not as good as expected. As you can understand, the volume is more than sufficient, but the quality is mediocre. The bass is powerful but unsatisfactory. I still wear Koss PortaPro clip-ons, which reproduce the sound well. Bass volume is lower on the Koss, but quite satisfying as you "feel" it. The mids and highs of the yurbuds are also powerful, but not very defined. I use the PowerAmp app on my Android phone, probably the best app for music. It has flexible equalizer and sound settings, but no tampering resulted in sufficient clarity. I think the red caps (the "sound tunnel" as they call it) are made of a material that absorbs some frequencies. Overall, I find the sound acceptable. Just don't expect audiophile quality. I had a slight discomfort in my ears when walking, but not enough to be bothersome. When I finished the 45 minute walk, my ears didn't hurt. I think after a few more uses the slight discomfort may even go away.
