Stools are made for sitting, not standing

I have outfitted my home office with a height-adjustable work station specifically designed to allow me to stand or sit while I work. When I saw this article from Learniture I was excited because it was a lot cheaper than some of the "stools" I was looking at and was also compact and versatile. The product got to me a day ahead of schedule and was packaged very nicely (effectively and efficiently) - thanks Learniture! Pros: - great, fast service/delivery - INCREDIBLY easy assembly - no tools required and done in less time. more than two minutes (it takes about a minute to verify that you really did everything necessary.) - very comfortable and durable - the seat is a rounded triangle with a SMALL concave center. The base is heavy but not unnecessary (the weight keeps you upright) - the height adjustment is smooth and easy. Cons: - It was a bit difficult to set up the seat at first. However, once I actually loaded it, I had no problems. While it's far from fragile, I don't expect it to be able to handle heavy traffic either. For example, I probably wouldn't put this in a shared office where it would be accidentally used by multiple people (note: I ordered a vinyl seat, not a leather seat). My standing desk height is currently 43 inches (when standing on a 1 inch anti-fatigue mat). The stool has a maximum height of 27 inches, so I can't really "squat" while standing. Of course, that doesn't say what it's for, but I bought it before I installed the adjustable desk, so I was embarrassed. I know what height I might need. It's not the best accessory for a bar table (unless you're 1.60m tall or smaller ;-)), but it's still a solid, functional stool at a reasonable price. . I'm hoping there might be an "expansion set" I could invest in!
