Update: 04/22/2021. Bar stools are still good. They held up to 300 pounds and 200 regularly. However, where people put their feet on the ground, the stain scratches a bit. I have to say I was a bit apprehensive ordering and shipping these chairs. I've heard quite a few horror stories about damaged, scratched or broken furniture. OR all of the above. However, these chairs were packaged very well with no damage, impressed and grateful. The chairs themselves were easy to assemble, I did it myself. Now about the looks and style. The finished product is very nice, clean looking, nice dark color, natural wood, fits a 29 inch height and has a nice wide seat. The pillows are smooth, soft but not too soft, very comfortable, jet blacks Color I like, the height of the backrest suits me. I'm 5ft 6in and about 170lbs. The description says the chairs rotate smoothly, I confirm the ones I received rotate very smoothly with no noise. These bar stools are very heavy and durable. Overall I am very impressed with the stools. The quality is definitely there. My husband is now 6ft 4in and weighs about 300lbs and they seem to be able to handle his weight with no problem. Now we don't sit in it all the time, but we use it regularly with no problems. on the bottom of the legs. Because they are high, it slips a bit when I sit on them. The handles for the bottom of the chair legs that I bought from Lowe work perfectly. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
