I love the soft-closing hinge on this toy box - it stays open until the child closes it manually. It still has points to catch baby's fingers if baby smacks it on her fingers. My little one was immediately obsessed with the sound the lid made when slammed shut by hand. You can imagine how it was. I was concerned about possible damage, so I added rubber bumpers to the edges (like on cabinet doors) to prevent the wood panel from falling directly onto the frame. In my opinion it should have come with them. Luckily I had something. Overall, this toy dresser is adorable, modern, spacious and equipped with storage boxes for toys. It has a large flat screen on the front where children's names or some sort of decoration can be put.
