I have been buying Betty Dain shower caps for several years and when it came time to replace my last purchase I decided on the Betty Dain 'Chippie Chick' version. Like previous Betty Dain shower caps, the 'Hippie Chick' is made of durable plastic, brightly colored and large enough to cover shoulder-length hair. Earlier Betty Dain shower caps had at least two rows of elasticated seams to keep their shape. leak caps. They are typically "tight" for a year and then work well enough as a travel shower cap for another year. The "Hippie Chick" version I received only had one row of elasticated seams and if I'm not careful and bend over, water will get onto the back of the shower cap. I will probably be looking for a different shower cap soon due to the declining build quality. The hippie chick version is no better than average.
