I took a chance and these are good gel polishes

I was looking for a set of translucent jelly nail gel polishes and most of the other sets I've seen on Amazon have either been very bright and vibrant colors or just different variations of pink. This set caught my attention because it has a wide range of neutral tones, black and white, as well as some bright colors like green, blue and purple that aren't insanely bright. However, I was a bit apprehensive about getting this as it only had one review at the time of purchase, but I jumped at the chance and decided to give it a try anyway. These gel polishes were packaged well, cured in my lamp with no problem, they are translucent yet buildable as advertised. There is no opinion yet on how they will be worn as I have only tried them on at the moment. Packaging: Each bottle of polish was individually wrapped and marked with a color number in a large cardboard box. This is good in that if one bottle somehow leaks during transit (this hasn't happened to me, but it could be a possibility) the others won't be damaged, but it will create quite a bit of extra waste. The bottles are holographic pink which is pretty pretty compared to most of my other gel polish bottles which only come in black or white. The bottles are square in shape which makes them easy to store as they fit snugly together without the large gaps that round bottles have. Each bottle looks the same as the others except that there is a numbered sticker on the bottom so they can be distinguished. I'm not a fan of labels on the bottom as you always have to pick them up and turn them upside down to find the right polish, but I will. It would be nice to have the color on the label, not just the number but oh well. The polish itself: My polishes have a nice consistency and cure well in my lamp (54W UV LED). The polish applied thinly and smoothly, wasn't thick or sticky and didn't have any lumps (you never know when you buy polishes that only have one rating). I was healed without blisters. In my patterns you can see what one layer looks like at the base of the sample, two layers in the middle and three layers at the top. Some paints remained very transparent even after three coats, others, especially white ones, became more opaque with several coats. It's up to personal preference whether you want them to create opacity or not. They were all very transparent with only one layer. I received all the colors shown in the product photos, although the markings are slightly different (number 01 on the product image is 41 for me, 02 for me 42, etc.). My colors come out a bit darker and more muted than the product photos, unless I've applied thicker layers than they are. With one coat, some polishes look very similar to others in the set, but as you add more coats it's easier for you to tell the difference between them. Overall, I'm glad I took the risk and made this purchase because I can see I've benefited a lot from these polishes.
