I use this religiously in my InSinkerator and enjoy regularly adding beneficial bacteria to my Cess Pool. (What?! Cess Pool? Yes! 166 year old house! It's not actually a 'pool', just an underground pit that everything flows into. No seepage.) CHECK THE PUMP! I have repeatedly received a bottle with a defective pump. I installed the bottle a few months ago and happened to look at it today. Still full to the brim like the first day. Hm? So I took it and tested it in the sink. FUBAR pump, it just doesn't work. Now it's okay if I had an old bottle left over as the cap just unscrews and I can pour from one to the other. But I threw it away. Pooh! So I had to order another bottle and test the pump first. It worked well so I'll use the bad one as a refill. So a word to the wise. Check your pump before throwing away your old bottle!
