Review on Enhanced Philips Norelco S5370/84 Electric Shaver: Wet & Dry, Turbomode, SmartClean by Matt Duffy

As someone who has tried more electric shavers before I am always a little skeptical about a new shaver as they all have to be the same. This one stood out because it came in such a large box for a Norelco shaver and I quickly understood why once I saw the SmartClean device that came with it. TLDR version: I love the new Norelco 5700 because it gives me a very close shave wet or dry and with the included SmartClean device you can start each shave as if it were a brand new razor! First of all, it's one of the most eye-catching devices aesthetically - with a sure grip and a very modern set of LED indicators that are visible only when necessary (e.g. when charging). The 5700 fully charges in an hour - and should shave daily for at least a week (that's a requirement for me even when considering a product). If you've ever shaved with a rotary razor (those 3 circular attachments) you know the challenge is to constantly make gentle circular motions across your neck and face (like a drunk Zamboni driver) to ensure your mustache is disheveled. a way. In the past I have found that my skin can become irritated because dry shavers repeatedly leave these marks on my skin. What made the Norelco 5700 different was how closely I could shave without irritating my skin. Norelco discovered the secret of how the blades slide across my delicate face! Also, as part of an attempt to give a free razor sample, I was thoroughly examined, I waited two days, lathered up my regular shaving gel. which I normally use with a disposable razor - and got one of the DEEPEST shaves ever with an electric razor! Yes, this razor works REALLY WELL on both wet and dry surfaces! So if you have EVER tried shaving with an electric shaver and any product (cream, gel, oil) you know that the downside of good lubrication is poor cleaning. the process after shaving. That's where the almighty (that's a significant addition to your counter) SmartClean device comes into play. When you're done shaving (wet or dry), simply place the 5700 upside down in the SmartClean unit. and it really cleans the shaver, charges it and gets it ready for the next shave. And it's no exaggeration to tell you that your shaver will literally be like new. No moustache, no cream/gel residue, not even a scent. This magical device puts your Norelco 5700 in the same condition as when you shave it for the first time. That's incredible. Pros: Close shave without irritating my skin. Works with gel which is my favorite. With SmartClean, every shave feels like your first shave. Fast charging and enough for at least a week of daily shaving. a few days if you use a disposable razor) The SmartClean device takes up a decent amount of counter space (larger than a regular charger).
