I ordered this 6/30 cooling vest and have used it several times on my greyhound. The vest cools down the internal temperature when it is 80-90F. Anything else and it may not be efficient. No other vest would be effective in hotter weather unless it was chilled in some way or contained some form of cooling gel or ice. slips. This is not due to the waistcoat, as the greyhound's neck is smaller than the head. But I should note that the neck velcro can be longer to fit the thin-necked breed. My final comment will be that I bought this vest when it was less than twenty dollars and I have noticed that the cost is almost fifty dollars as of today 12th September 2019 for 2XL. The vest is worth it if you can get it for less than twenty, but if you're approaching fifty I recommend looking for a similar vest that costs less.
