The Perfect Weighted Blanket (I'm 15 pounds). I like the material of the blanket itself. This is definitely not the kind of fleece that gets insanely hot. It's a silky bamboo material that's cooler to the touch, but it's no miraculous cooling blanket. It just doesn't get that hot compared to other duvets. Logistically it still keeps your body temperature on the warmer side, it's literally a heavy blanket over you with no air pockets for airflow. Do not get me wrong; This material is probably the coolest feel you'll get for a weighted blanket. You can buy a fleece (or mink) cover for it if you want to keep warm in the cool season. It arrived well packaged, clean and ready to use, no dirt, sand or loose bullets anywhere. I will update if anything changes.
