Small and large are almost the same size

I ordered 3 of these dresses in SM, LG and XL. They were all the same size except for about an inch in the sleeve. The little one will work perfectly for my 5 year old but the LG and XL don't work for my 10 year old. I ordered size XL after receiving the first two, hoping the dresses would be medium, but unfortunately they were exactly the same size. In the second photo I moved the neck to show the tags. I didn't photograph the XL as it came later and was the same.
