Fake heavy boxes (e.g. you could get fine china boxes or like most van boxes) if you want that. A little lighter than what you would get from a trucking company. The outside of the boxes is not covered with anything, so water will most likely damage it. They arrived on a rainy day but were completely wrapped in what appeared to be giant cling film to keep them dry. However, these boxes don't take up much space until glued on for use. I use them to pack clothes and maybe some household items to pack in a U-Haul-it trailer a few months later. Great, because all the boxes are the same size and not so big that I (an old lady, exhausted!) can't carry them upstairs for storage until we move. But not such small boxes that nothing fits. I am very happy! I would say if you have things that just need to be stored in the attic or on pallets in the basement they may suit you.
