Well I'll be honest. We have a small bathroom. We have a closet in the bathroom and that is the only storage space. We lived with that fact for many years, and then we got a shelf from Target. A year and a half later, it began to fail. Rather than drilling MORE holes in the drywall, we opted for the shelves. They can be removed if damaged and offer significantly more storage space than the previous wall shelf. a cistern which I think will come in handy in case something goes wrong with the inside of the toilet. All in all, it has significantly increased the shelf space with almost no problems. My only (VERY minor) complaint is that the toilet seat lid doesn't fully open now. It opens wide enough that it doesn't close itself, but the lid definitely rests against the bottom shelf.
