I bought the filter together with the shower head and as you can see in the picture this filter is the BOMB. I live in the city of Honolulu, Hawaii, and the water quality is questionable depending on where I live. I was SHOCKED to see the clear band (indicating particles being filtered) turn BROWN after a very short time. My shower quality improved SIGNIFICANTLY, my skin and scalp itched and my feet cracked from the hard water. Now I really enjoy showering, especially with the attached shower head that I bought in the kit. The 5 settings of the shower head provide plenty of pressure, it even has a mist function which I really enjoy using. Installation was easy and straight forward, no tape or extra fittings required! I bought additional filters because I know for sure that I will continue to use this product. Well deserved 5 STARS!
