This is a very well made fabric. There's good polar fleece and cheap polar fleece that curls up, looks plastic, wears out, and doesn't work as an insulating layer. This is a high quality polar fleece. It's dense and doesn't shed after many snowboarding weekends and multiple wash and dry cycles. I didn't think the sweatshirt would be decent for the price but I needed something cheap and fast for my 5 year old snowboarding. I was surprised to get such a high quality fleece and it was everything he needed as a warm layer under his shell. I know it will last and look like new when passed down to my youngest child and then to my cousins. It's going to be one of those classic long-lasting products.
