The quality is the same as the famous Canon brand laser cartridge. The printer recognizes it as a non-Canon cartridge and it was a little difficult to figure out how to get it to print on the first run. After that there are no questions. It doesn't tell you when the ink is low, but I see that as a plus as the Canon cartridge forced me to change it when I felt it was still enough for quality printing.
