I bought a 30 x 30 mink bed for a 34 lb Border Collie mix with some orthopedic abnormalities and arthritis. The bed looks amazing, very soft and the pillows are just what I wanted for her as she loves to curl up. Unfortunately, there is almost nothing to upholster on the basis of this bed. It is essentially a glorified rolled up blanket thrown on the floor. I would not recommend this bed unless you are planning on stacking another bed, pillows or something else on top with adequate support. I ended up putting 2 king size pillows under the bed for extra padding. The dog is not used to it yet, but the cat definitely likes it. Bottom line, this should not be advertised as an "orthopedic" bed!
