This belt was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting some kind of glued leather or cheap synthetic leather. What I didn't expect is that it will be a real leather belt of very good quality, right size, nice color and good workmanship. I don't think you get anything better than this belt for the price. It's not overly elegant and not overly functional. It goes well with everyday and everyday things. It might work for some dresses but I guess there won't be many. The back of the belt has a slightly rough pile that tends to cling well to the belt when fastened. You may or may not like this aspect. I didn't like it at first but after a few days I got used to it and now I really like that aspect of the belt. It stays in place after tightening. It's worth the price paid and now I just have to order other colors.
