I ordered this item because I was looking for a longer leg for better sun protection instead of the short bottoms I have for a rash guard, long sleeve top. These bottoms are well made with what seems to be quality materials and have a separate panty lining. I ordered it in a Size Large because of my hips. I didn't want it to be skintight and I was correct. If you want it to fit snug like a typical bathing suit, order your usual size.Here are the reasons that I decided to return this item. The waist felt too low for me and when I tried to pull the waist up higher, the inner panty lining wouldn’t go up as high and didn’t feel right. Even with the waist on my hips and inner panty in the right place, the crotch of the outer shorts felt too low. All in all, the fit felt weird, and I sent them back.
