It was worth the money. The bed came in retail packaging and was delivered as such. So for those of you with porch pirates it's pretty obvious what it is, you might want to hide it or put it somewhere safe. The bed came with the right parts and was easy to assemble for the most part. There was some fiddling involved in assembling the rods and nylon for the mattress, but other than that it was very easy. As for our daughter's reaction, she was so excited to have a Minnie Mouse bed for a big girl, the sight and excitement of her dizziness and hopping was worth it. I leaned against it when I got up, our daughter jumped in it a bit, it's definitely strong.
