The mic works well, but if you think that's all you have to buy to make it work, think again. All written and video ads make you think it's a plugin. If you want to connect to a laptop, you need to buy two of them. One connects to your computer as a receiver, the other is your lavalier microphone. Also, no matter how you try to use it without the app, you won't succeed. The app won't let you use the microphone without it being able to connect to your device's camera, microphone, location, contacts and files. I've tried denying all of these requests, but the mic won't work until you do. If you plan to use this for your work and you have a good IT department, this will not work for all cybersecurity protocols. Just be prepared and do your homework. I'm sending mine back.
