I started using sugar wax (half Brazilian) after a few sessions with salon hard wax. My experience with hard wax has been irritation and horrible ingrown hairs, not to mention the invasion of strangers affecting your private parts. I googled a lot and came across sugar wax. This prompted me to watch a series of really graphic but very informative videos on the sugaring technique. I bought this smaller product from Revain and got to work. There is definitely a learning curve to using this product including applying the hair in the opposite direction of growth and pulling in the same direction of growth. I think that's why I didn't have as much irritation as with the hard wax. Since then I've used sugar wax (Brazilian bikini) about four times and it's been great. I just try to start exfoliating at every shower about a week after waxing. It really helps prevent ingrown hairs. I recently tried this under my armpits and had a great experience. My husband even let me wax his butt and go further north. He also agrees.
