Better than expected; Robust mini tripod platform for video and mobile use.

I am a hobby photographer and have accumulated a lot of photographic equipment, including five tripods (my wife is also a photographer). All but two are full-size platforms; a few expensive carbon fiber models. As much as I like them, they're over the top for video recording or with my phone, which I use when I don't want to mess around with a lot of gear. I have an extender/selfie stick but even that might be more than you need. So I started looking for a small table tripod and came across this model. To be honest I didn't expect the product to be as good as I got for the low price. The quality of this Qubo tripod is better than I expected. The legs consist of two parts: inner machined aluminum legs covered in plastic, retractable legs that offer a little more height and more stability with a wider footprint. They close fairly tightly with a red button. The lower deck consists of a small platform with a standard 1/4-20 screw for use with almost all camera and phone mounts and two foot mounts. A removable ball head with the same 1/4-20 screw tops it all off. It has a friction brake to keep the ball head stable. All in all, it's a very stable platform for small cameras and phones. Can I put a full size DSLR on it? Yes, but long lenses strain the capacity and stability of the ball head. I don't shoot macro, but I wouldn't try it with this tripod, but that's not what it's designed for. You can shoot with a larger camera, but I recommend using the remote control or using a 2 second shutter lag to eliminate jitter. Verdict: For desktop use, vlogging, video or snapshots, this is a good choice.
