Review on 🔒 RUBAN Plastic Hard Case Shell for MacBook Pro 15 inch (2015-2012) A1398, Retina - Gold, with Keyboard Cover by Dan Weeman

Favorite case. Matte black is sexy. When opened, the Apple logo shines through. I have two MacBook Pros - 2011 and a recent Retina. The Retina laptop is slim and thin. With this additional casing, it is just as thick as its predecessor and almost as heavy. The cost of protection. I have to admit I'm not sure how much drop protection this case will offer. I was looking for a case that would protect my laptop from scratches. It does. Given the extra weight, I might have opted for a Bodyguardz sticker cover. All this, as they say, I will keep because it looks cool. :-) UPDATE: After a few days of use, I noticed that the top and bottom of the case don't match. Also, the bottom (front) part of the case was sharp and protruded a bit, which hurt my wrists. I removed the body and sanded down all the edges with some sandpaper. Wow what a difference. The case is now nicely aligned and smooth to the touch. In view of the enormous cost savings, the small effort is worth it.
