It's been two years since I bought this mattress topper. Two glorious years in which our mattress underneath was brand new. And that mattress topper has been put to the test since our dog contracted IBD last year. He started throwing up in his sleep. i know it's cool But every time he did, we just ripped off the sheet and cover and got up and checked. The mattress underneath remained intact. This thing has thrown up dozens of times, peed a few times when the steroids he was on for IBD made him wet the bed (I know that's cool too), and washed over a hundred times. If our dog throws up in his sleep, we just take everything off, change the sheets and two minutes later we're back in bed. A mattress cleaning is not necessary. I don't know what we would do without him. This thing is made out of fairies and fairy dust. There's no other way to explain why he's still so strong after the poor thing went through.
