I bought this for my Gateway NV76R24U laptop. My charging cable stopped working and I had to find one that worked fast and lasted a long time. I've been using it for a month and everything seems great. If you're not sure if this will work for your laptop, just make sure the wattage, volts, and amps match your old laptop. It is located on the transformer (black box in the middle of the charging cable). Then you need to check if the barrel size fits. Just measure the large diameter and the pin hole diameter and if they are all the same you are done. I will let you know if anything goes wrong with the cable in the future.
