I've been watching these Joules boots for several years. I'm so glad I broke down and got them. I have a dog footprint! These are not your cheap rubber boots. They are flexible and better at walking. I'm 5ft 3in so they are a little taller than me but flexible enough not to worry. They have an adjustable back buckle for calf adjustment and are suitable for large calves. I also bought them fleece linings. Great tread on the bottom so you don't slip. Adorable well-made boots! I'm in love! The reviews were correct, they are great. I wear an 8.5 and these 8 have little space and are suitable for thick socks.
