SteelSeries QcK vs Razer Goliathus Mobile vs iXCC Smooth Silk Stitched vs Glorious Stitched

This is a comparison between SteelSeries QcK , Razer Goliathus Mobile, Mouse Pad iXCC Smooth Silk Stitched and Glorious Stitched mice. Surface Uniformity: As far as I can tell, the SteelSeries, Razer, and iXCC are completely consistent. Glorious has a bit of a snap when moused over, and the resistance changes slightly depending on the angle. Surface Resistance: Surprisingly for me there is a big difference. SteelSeries and Razer have relatively high numbers, Glorious is in the middle, and iXCC is the lowest. The difference is enough, as hitting a stationary mouse with constant force moves it about twice as far on the iXCC as it does on the SteelSeries or Razer. Using mouseaccuracy.com I have found that I work best with the higher resistance SteelSeries or Razer. . With a low-resistance pad, you'll spend more time transitioning from "cursor moving rapidly near target" to "cursor is on target"; With a high resistance pad, you need more force to travel the same distance. I have found that I can compensate for the latter better than the former, so my mouse performance improves with a higher resistance mat. Durability: I bought the SteelSeries in 2013 and the other three a few days ago. SteelSeries wears out badly over several years: moderate deformation, tissue detachment, crumbling rubber backing, dirt that cannot be wiped off. Razer has the same design. Glorious has stitched edges, but they are a little rough and thick, forming a border around the pad. The iXCC seams are the same height as the rest of the lining and are softer and more consistent. Tape measure, so allow some inaccuracy. I don't think I care about thickness, but I do rub Glorious rims. Conclusion: Of my three new pads, I choose Razer because of the surface, but I expect it to wear out quickly. The iXCC has great build quality, but I can't rate it that well on its finish.
