It's stamped 'Real Leather' but doesn't say which animal the leather came from. It's some kind of weird leather laminate. A micro-thin layer of some kind of animal skin on the filler. Very very stiff and very cheap, I'll start looking for a replacement now as I don't expect this to last more than a couple of weeks. The inner pockets are just slots and only hold a couple of bills at a time. Pay more and get more.
