I own a couple of Bose sunglasses with audio systems, as well as a brand new pair or two under $100, and I now have a pretty good idea of what to expect at each price point. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this review, Kerpu sunglasses are out of stock and no price is shown, and I don't think I checked the retail price before requesting a review sample. In this case, I'm not sure if I should compare them to the $250 versions from Bose or the $80 discounted sunglasses. Spring. First off, these are really weird shades. You can't really tell from the photos, but the rimless lenses aren't actually dark gray - almost black as they appear - but rather light, almost mirror-grey. Taste is of course subjective, but I really like them. They look oddly futuristic. I also like the thickness of the temples, they are strong enough not to worry but not as bulky as my Bose sunglasses. However, there is a small issue with the design. The lenses attach only to the bridge of the nose and are almost completely flat, so they detach from the frame at the temples. It's intentional, so there's nothing wrong with it, but I'm concerned that they could catch on something and the lenses could warp. I would feel much better if they were fully attached. Now for the sound quality. That's surprisingly good for a brand I've never heard of. You can't expect impressive sound from audio sunglasses even at Bose quality levels, but it's pretty respectable here. At normal volume I would compare the quality to a pair of entry-level headphones from a reputable brand like Anker, which are perfect for this type of product as the appeal is in the novelty rather than the objective sound quality. In short, they act as very comfortable headphones, although if you're an audiophile hoping for something spectacular, you won't find that here. All in all, this is a very good example of audio sunglasses. They obviously look weird but are pretty cool and they just sound good. At a reasonable discount on a pair of Bose Audio sunglasses, I would consider them a steal.
