Needed a camera for something - my phone works just as well but wanted something so I could record longer videos and it would be easier to move files to my computer. This camera works as intended. It's extremely lightweight (both technically and physically! It's so cute!) but has enough features/settings to put you in control of your photos and videos. The price is very fair considering everything. It's clearly not a professional DSLR or anything, but it's good if you need a small basic DSLR and don't want to pay hundreds for it, for kids, or if you're shooting/shooting in a messy place (art studios). . :) ) and don't want to be afraid of damaging your really good camera. Of course, if you're looking for professional, high-quality shots, this isn't the camera for you. It lacks the features you might find like autofocus and macro settings. The only thing that confused me a bit is the lack of a lens cap? Even other cheap points and shots like this usually have some sort of plastic that slides over the lens glass to protect against dust, fingerprints, scratches, etc. Keep an eye on it I guess. Otherwise it's very good for the price :)
