Luv's nappies may have been the best nappies on the market and certainly the best for the price. Our daughter HAD wears Luvs from a size 1 to a size 5. They used to offer excellent protection. She could literally fill her with 2 or 3 pees and not leak AND she would be dry. NOW to finally add a silly yellow and blue stripe (so silly parents who probably need a GPS to get home from the grocery store can confirm that that extra bulging pound of softness in their baby's diaper is actually urine), they have completely sacrificed every aspect of quality they used to boast about. These new diapers (featuring giraffes, pandas, and hippos) are brutal. The first time she napped in it, she peed and water ran all over the bed — something that had literally never happened before in over a year of using "old-fashioned" luvs (with monkeys on them). My wife and I argued for hours (disagreed) whether it was sweat or urine (I had sweat money) because we literally NEVER encountered a urine leak from the now discontinued (?) AWESOME old Luvs formula. Needless to say we are not disappointed. The only saving grace is that she's almost ready for pull-ups. I don't know what we're going to do in the next few months, ie. where we will look for affordable quality diapers. Luvs used to be unbeatable in this area. These NEW luvs are worse than cheap and useless, they're a liability. I'd rather wrap them in paper towels than pay money for them. Love, wake up and FIX IT before you lose all your loyal customers. No doubt you're already losing support quickly due to the small sample of disgruntled customers I see in reviews. out. I think I'll try huggies again or maybe experiment with different brands again. I figured we'd never have to do that (I've been so happy with the old Luvs models already discontinued). :( 😪😞
