I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years so most of my lights are old fashioned and of high quality but slowly deteriorate with prolonged use apart . I've gradually replaced things with more modern programmable LED hardware, often trying cheaper brands like Neewer with great success. Luckily, the lanterns themselves in this set are reusable, but unfortunately everything else belongs in the bin. Stands are so cheap and light that they can't support the weight of a softbox and lights when fully extended without falling off. Also, they are so poorly built that the 20 pound sandbag I placed on top to keep them from falling bent the supporting leg. The softbox itself isn't Bowens Mount compatible, so I can't relate to it. The extensions are too short and built into the device controls, making them unusable as well. The bag is a good size but very thin with a questionable quality zipper. I doubt it can be used quite a few times and it has a terrible rubber/plastic smell, just like softbox cases. In general, I found the box that this junk heap ended up in more useful to me than the lighting set. I do not recommend this. Look for better brands.
