I ordered this to build my own combat joystick and when it came time to hook it up to a 20 pin joystick and wire harness it just registered. I started twisting the joystick and it registered left when I pressed down-left and up when I pressed down-right. I thought it might have been a mix up of wires so I took the wire that came with the joystick and cut off one end to solder the wires to the circuit board. I double checked that they were tight and that the wires were crossed. I pressed and still nothing happened. At least three "buttons" worked.
