I ordered size 24 months for my 10 months old baby. It is 75% thicker in size and weight. We use fabric so it's very difficult to find pants that fit both the diaper and his big thighs. These fit well. They are a bit loose so should fit for a while, especially as at this age they tend to pull themselves up when they start walking/running. There's also about 2 inches that we roll back up so there's plenty of room to grow. The material is light and soft, so it is very suitable for cool summer days or warm autumn/spring. Alone they are not suitable for winter. I bought several Carhart bibs to wear in the winter. They're narrow enough to look good under bibs, but not narrow enough to look like leggings. Overall I really like them, just what I was looking for. Note: Waist ties are for decoration only.
