I've never had a headphone with a better cable. With most headphones, I worry about broken connectors, a weak cable, or something else. These things use really big, very strong cables and are reinforced at all connection points. These are studio monitor reference headphones but they produce a nice clean sound. I keep four pairs of these (at work, in my bag, at home, and a spare pair in case I lose one of the other pairs). I don't see myself buying other headphones for everyday use. They also come in a durable, semi-rigid, zippered case that contains extra pieces of ear foam. And it has a carabiner to attach it to whatever you want to attach it to.
