Review on Convenient and Efficient: CAMPINGMOON Steel Foldable Campfire Grill with Stackable Storage Rack T-238-1T by Mark Marcellus

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent quality typical of Campingmoon

I had previously tested the Campingmoon folding fire pit and grill and was impressed with their quality compared to the other two I tested. What struck me was the quality of the material and workmanship, I thought it was a Chinese brand and as many of you may know, China has a stigma of making inferior products. Not camping moon. The fire pit manual was in Chinese and Japanese so I figured it might actually be a Japanese brand. Unlike China, Japan is known for its quality. It turns out that Campingmoon is actually a Chinese company whose products are sold in the Chinese, Japanese and Korean markets. I've also seen a growing fan base in Thailand, and as you can see with this product on Revain, it appears to be trying to gain a foothold in the US market as well. So, how is this grill table doing? No wonder very good! The material is strong, durable and looks like it could last a long time. It's not mushy at all. The legs fold down and the grills can be stacked vertically, although this should be done BEFORE you place them on the fire. The addition of oil seasonings kept the food from burning if you controlled the cooking temperature properly, and I appreciated the fact that each of them can also be used as a side table when cooking. For example, I could start chopping the veggies and cooking the meat, and then just set the grill over the fire pit and be ready to let it sizzle. When finished I just fished it back out with heat resistant gloves and ate right out of it, although I suggest you take out the cooked food and wipe the grill down while it's still warm/half hot so the food comes off easily from less separates cleaning. Spaced side rails allow for hanging dishes and utensils. Nice gesture. I also use one of the grills above my propane fire pit to place a kettle or pot over the fire for cooking or heating. The grids fold up and fit into a sturdy carrying case. I put the chilled grills in a plastic bag first to keep debris out of the carry bag. Great job Campingmoon.
