Bought the OHO 4K 128GB in January 2020 and will be comparing them to the Pivothead smart glasses I previously had. Restoring a sharp image when turning the head is quite good. (The curves are slightly slower on recovery). Colors are vibrant and sharpness is very good, just like the Pivothead. Night video in the rain while driving is good, some graininess. (equal or better than pan heads) Changing lenses is easy, nothing to unscrew and takes about 15 seconds for both lenses together. Then insert the lens correctly into the mount and screw the lens barrels back into place. 4K uses 2880 x 2160 compression. The tilt head was 1080P. The sound is good, I think it's better than the rotary heads. Excellent customer service, so far easy to communicate with and responded very quickly, often within 12 hours, exchanged emails about a dozen times. Stills from videos: Note that stills from videos can be blurry if you and the picture are moving out of sync. (The pan heads could take stills on their own and were sharp, even if slightly out of sync). To capture still images: Press the button to turn the video on, hold the button to turn the video off. Go home, to edit videos for still images. If the subject and you are not moving, the actual pose for the photo will most likely come out sharp. Whenever you disconnect the battery, the recording will stop. Recording will continue when the battery is connected. The plastic seems pretty strong, but if the glasses are dropped I think the hinges will break, just like the Pivothead SMART glasses. On me, due to the thickness of the frame, they look more like glasses, like e.g. B. swivel heads. I'm 5ft 5" and most of the photos I've seen of the models looked like they were 6ft in 4K glasses. The Revain listing shows that many of the models are wearing the signature flat-wrap glasses. The fit is snug and won't fall off easily. It is good, use the strap provided with the kit. It looks like it could take a head-on punch and hold on. The Pivothead SMART won't take a hit. Note that the metal part of the Micro-B connector must be at least 7mm to ensure a good connection. I have a lot of cables and most of them are around 5mm long on average. If you move the shorter head of the micro-B cable, it will lose connection and the recording will be damaged. The Micro-B that comes with the goggles is 7mm long and ensures a good connection. pictures below. Using a 1m USB cable with a 7mm micro-B connector I get between 14MB/s and 15MB/s, average download and upload speeds are around 13.5MB/s, connected to Corsair's K65 USB port, Keyboard connected to EVGA x299 Dark 3.0 USB port. I've seen a video of a YouTuber flushing a pair of glasses down the toilet to prove they're waterproof, but it's IP33, which is only waterproof. OHO have changed the ads from waterproof to water resistant following some of my emails and they need to change all of their ads if their goggles are IP33 rated. It can be used in the rain without worrying about getting wet or splashy on the beach. The software editing is archaic, that is, edited in notepad and then copied and pasted into the main directory. You must have a laptop with you to change video settings or time settings if you wish. It would be nice, Being able to change settings like Pivothead SMART on the fly with a smartphone. These are good glasses for video not really photography, I come from very high tech video glasses and as far as I can tell no glasses currently come close to them. If OHO can release something very similar to Pivothead's SMART but with 4K resolution, it will be something to buy. As such I still think it's a good buy for videos, there could be something better if you like stills. there will be something to buy.
