Good value for money - 15 inch cable is very good. In many cases it is not necessary to burn the extension cord. - Switch next to the light itself. Very convenient - haven't compared the lumen rating but in my opinion it works just as well as the tried and true old 500w halogen but it doesn't burn to the ground when you approach it. - Unlike the "reliable" 500W halogen mentioned above, there's no standard bulb to blow out if you accidentally look at the light the wrong way (or, God forbid, you tap while it's running) - No burned forearms on one Few months of use - I got 41 watts vs 512 on my old halogen (see point above) - Slim profile. Folds flat to hang almost flat on a pegboard/wall hook. Works well enough so I immediately ordered a second one.
