This is an excellent waterproof blanket! It feels a little different than a regular blanket like it has an extra layer in the middle but if I didn't know it was waterproof I'd probably just think it's a little heavier than it looks. Ceiling. It is soft and warm and feels comfortable. I decided to really test their waterproofing because, hey, that's kind of the reason for buying this particular duvet. So I opened it up, laid it out and poured a couple ounces of water directly onto the blanket. I've photographed the ceiling at various times, starting with one just after I poured water on it. The water seemed to seep into the duvet because there were dark spots where I spilled it, so I figured it might be water. resilient, not waterproof, and if I don't top up the water as soon as possible, it will eventually get wet. So I waited about 30 minutes and then checked it. Water pooled on the ceiling like it was made out of plastic or something, like rainwater pooled on a tarp. There were a few small drips that didn't darken the blanket but flowed across the blanket when I moved it. I filmed this BC it was so weird to see how the water behaves on the fabric but it was. I waited another 30 minutes, a full hour since I poured water on the bed covers and then checked under the covers. on the back and bottom, expecting to see some moisture there. But the floor and the back of the ceiling were absolutely dry! I was very surprised! Since this blanket would not absorb water, I had to somehow raise the water so I could fold the blanket and put it away. I grabbed a towel and blotted the water out. To my amazement, not only was the water soaked into the towel, but the dark stains on the duvet were gone and the top of the duvet was dry instantly. I figured there should be some sort of lining between the front and back of the duvet so one side would get wet, but it wouldn't go through to the other side and I would just have a duvet that would be wet. a page. But after drying the water with a towel, it turned out that there was no water on it at all. Both sides were completely dry! I was very surprised about that. This duvet lives up to its waterproof claim. Not only does it prevent liquid from seeping into the back and anything under the duvet, but it also prevents liquid from seeping into the top. All this without sacrificing the comfort and flexibility you would normally expect from a duvet.
