VERY IMPRESSIVE! I have traveled extensively (for work and pleasure) and have tried quite a few portable speakers. They were compact at best and fitted well in luggage, gym gear or backpacks, but never had great sound quality. I had never heard of this brand but I live in San Diego and saw this brand recently so thought I'd give it up as I was in the market for another one. While not the most compact of speakers, it's really powerful. The design is simple but of high quality. I bought the speaker just before the Easter holidays and had two parties in my garden. It worked very impressively indoors and outdoors. Indoors, it has a full, rounded sound and doesn't lose it in the top end. The bass is substantial (in testing) but doesn't produce the static (overstretched) sound you can get with subwoofers. However, it SHINES on the outside. It filled the entire yard and was absolutely clean! I love the idea that they can bond together and while it can be expensive some of them seem to really be able to blow it up!
